About the event
The Salt Sanctuary of Maryland and Valoria Walker, Doula by Destiny Community Death Educator and End-of-Life Doula, have partnered again to host the Death Cafe on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 6:00 pm.
The Death Cafe is a societal movement meant to increase our understanding of death and reduce fear about this natural part of life. The uniqueness of the Death Cafe brings the community together for a rich dialogue around death and dying. Attending builds a supportive environment for people to gather and discuss different perspectives on death. Talking about death can provide moments of clarity about how experiencing the death of others has impacted our lives. The Death Cafe is also an opportunity to explore the meaning of one's Life and the legacy we leave for future generations.
